Installation

Install from Chrome Web Store

  • Open the Chrome Web Store
  • Search for SFDC Police
  • Click Add to Chrome and confirm

    • The extension icon will appear in your toolbar.

    Connect to Your Org

  • Navigate to any Salesforce or Lightning page (e.g., https://yourorg.lightning.force.com or any Setup page)
  • The extension auto-detects your existing session
  • Click the extension icon in your toolbar
  • You're ready to use all modules

    • No API keys, connected apps, or admin approval required. The extension reads and writes through your existing Salesforce login.

    What You'll See

    Floating Panel — Quick-access overlay accessible from any Salesforce page. Contains status, actions, context tabs, user search, queries, and the Batch Manager. Full-page App — Click "Open in new tab" from the popup to launch the complete application with every module (Data Migrator, Access Editor, Security Insights, SOQL Builder, Org Process Graph, and more).

    Supported Surfaces

    The extension works on any Lightning Experience, Setup, or classic Salesforce page on these domains:

    • *.salesforce.com
    • *.lightning.force.com
    • *.my.salesforce.com

    Privacy and Security

    Session-based only. The extension uses your existing Salesforce session cookie. You own the session; we never store tokens or credentials server-side. Zero external transmission. All analysis, caching, and metadata exploration happen in your browser. Your org's data, access rules, and audit logs never leave your machine.

    Troubleshooting

    Extension not detecting my org

    Verify you're on a Salesforce page (the URL must contain .salesforce.com or .lightning.force.com). Refresh the page and try clicking the icon again.

    Session expired error

    Log out and back into Salesforce in your browser tab, then refresh the page. The extension will automatically pick up your new session.

    Blank popup or missing tabs

    Try refreshing the Salesforce page and clicking the extension icon again. If issues persist, close and reopen the popup.
